X-BOX 360 J-TAG / RGH

This modification is the most extensive modification available for the X-BOX 360. It allows the user full control over the X-BOX 360. It supports Homebrew applications, Region free DVD, Region free games, playing games from internal or external USB hard drives. D.L.C. (downloadable content) and G.O.D. (games on demand) are also supported. Any size hard drive can also be installed and is not limited to the overpriced Microsoft hard drive. 1:1 (exact, one to one) copies of games are not supported, but for this we have a combination where both the J-TAG/RGH and the DVD-Rom FW modifications are done.

What exactly does this modification do?
- Rather ask what it doesn't do. It does everything you would want it to do.

How are games copied to the hard drive?
- This can be done from the X-BOX 360 via the pre installed XEX-Menu, via FTP (iso3god) from a Computer or via USB on external USB drives. If iso2god is used, games will be copied in Games On Demand format. Shortcuts to the games will then be located on the dashboard under recent games.

Will this modification void my warranty?
- Yes it will. Any “unauthorised” modification to your X-BOX 360 will void the warranty.

What guarantees do you offer?
- Our guarantee is for one year and covers our work and the installed hardware only. All updates to the J-TAG/RGH modification and Mod-Chip are free of charge during the one year warranty period.

Is there a chance that my X-BOX can be damaged by this modification?
- No not at all. As with all trades, the work done is only as good as the person that does it. We are professionals and have very high standards of quality and workmanship. Our impeccable track record is proof of this and also the reason why we’ve been in business for more than a decade (since 2000). However in the very unlikely event that something does go wrong we will NEVER return a damaged console to a customer. When the console is returned to you it will be in the same working order that we received it in.

Will this modification damage the X-BOX 360’s laser?
- No it will not. On the contrary since this will be used to play games from a hard drive it will actually increase laser life. Lasers are normally damaged in four ways. I) Badly scratched, dirty and over all cheap discs. This goes for original and copied games and movies. II) Excessive dust, this covers the laser’s eye and causes premature laser failure. III) Physical damage. Hard bumps, dropping the console, sticking coat hangers and other foreign objects into the tray to remove discs. IV) Normal wear and tear. The average life span of an X-BOX 360 laser is well over 3500 hours. This can be drastically shorten by bad discs, original or copied all the same.

Will I still be able to connect to X-BOX Live?
- Most definitely not. An X-BOX 360 with the J-TAG/RGH modification will immediately be banned from X-BOX live. There is a “dual NAND” solution available that allows switching between the J-TAG/RGH and the original firmware for people who would like to make use of X-BOX Live.

What about Dash (System Software) updates?
- Only “hacked” or “modified” Dash (System Software) updates can be installed. These are installed by us free of charge during the one year guarantee period. Installing an original Dash (System Software) update will leave the X-BOX 360 inoperable. Not to worry, the J-TAG/RGH modification has a built in failsafe that will not allow system software updates to be done on it.

Is this a software or hardware modification?
- It is both. It utilises a Mod-Chip that enables unsigned code to be executed (this is where the software part comes in). The Mod-Chip is also referred to as the RGH (Reset Glitch Hack). The sole purpose of this Mod-Chip is to reset the X-BOX 360’s CPU. The only drawback with this reset is the timing. On certain model X-BOX 360 consoles it takes longer to boot than others. Timing is somewhat iritic and initial boot times can vary from 5 – 45 seconds. Once booted the X-BOX 360 operates as normal. There are however some models that can take up to 2 minutes to boot.
