This is a software solution, although, initially complex hardware is still used to install the software. The X-BOX 360 still works exactly the same as it did before and original system software updates can still be installed as needed. X-BOX live can still be used, but please do remember if you use a backed-up game online chances are very good that your X-BOX 360 console will be banned from the X-BOX Live service.

What exactly does this modification do?
- This will allow the X-BOX 360 to play backed-up (copied) X-BOX 360 and X-BOX games. The game must be an exact copy of the original in order to work. This will NOT make the DVD Player region free and it will NOT allow region locked games from different non supported regions to work. For region unlocking please look at the J-TAG / RGH modification.

Will this modification void my warranty?
- Yes it will. Any “unauthorised” modification to your X-BOX 360 will void the warranty.

What guarantees do you offer?
- Our guarantee is for one year and covers our work only. All updates to the DVD-Rom firmware modification are free of charge during the one year warranty period. Please note that we have a cheaper option that does not include the one year free updates and all needed updates will have to be paid for.

Is there a chance that my X-BOX can be damaged by this modification?
- No not at all. As with all trades, the work done is only as good as the person that does it. We are professionals and have very high standards of quality and workmanship. Our impeccable track record is proof of this and also the reason why we’ve been in business for more than a decade (since 2000). However in the very unlikely event that something does go wrong we will NEVER return a damaged console to a customer. When the console is returned to you it will be in the same working order that we received it in.

Will this modification damage the X-BOX 360’s laser?
- No it will not. Lasers are normally damaged in four ways. I) Badly scratched, dirty and over all cheap discs. This goes for original and copied games and movies. II) Excessive dust, this covers the laser’s eye and causes premature laser failure. III) Physical damage. Hard bumps, dropping the console, sticking coat hangers and other foreign objects into the tray to remove discs. IV) Normal wear and tear. The average life span of an X-BOX 360 laser is well over 3500 hours. This can be drastically shorten by bad discs, original or copied all the same.

Will I still be able to connect to X-BOX Live?
- Yes, but please remember to never do system software updates if Live is a concern. During the guarantee period rather return the X-BOX 360 to us to restore the DVD-Rom firmware to its original state and then do the system software update. Afterwards we will reinstall the modified DVD-Rom firmware again. The reason for this is that Microsoft can at anytime during a system software update detect the modified firmware and ban the console. Also remember that there are many other ways that one can get banned from X-BOX Live.

What about Dash (System Software) updates?
- Normal Dash (System Software) updates can be done as normal. Please be cautious when X-BOX Live is being used. Also keep in mind that Microsoft improves on their protection from time to time.
